Had it not been for my time at CLS and the positive impact Miss Amy Nelson had on my life, I would have never gone down the path of teaching music! I smile when I write this because she would tell me, "You're going to be a band director some day!" And I would always respond, "NO WAY!" She was not the only teacher at CLS that cared for and guided me - gosh I was so lucky to have so many wonderful teachers!

Reflecting on my time CLS, it was a pivotal chapter that laid the groundwork for our future achievements. The experiences we shared, from classroom discussions, creating friendships that will last a lifetime and learning what it means to have a true relationship with Jesus. Our teachers not only imparted academic knowledge but also instilled in us a sense of integrity and values. Many friendships made during these years have become lifelong sources of support and inspiration. As we move forward, we carry the lessons and memories of our CLS days, and be forever grateful for the strong foundation it provided us.
