The Elementary School curriculum takes a developmental approach to academics, and resources are carefully chosen to help children learn skills, concepts, strategies, and content. The goal is to build a strong foundation with a God-centered view of the world that encourages students to become self-motivated lifelong learners.

Bible

At Christian Life Schools, we do not teach a certain denomination, we teach the Bible, God’s living and active word. We are a non-denominational Christian school, with students from over 100 different denominations. As a ministry of City First Church, our school beats with the same heartbeat as our church—to introduce people to Jesus and teach them to follow Him. While the Bible curriculum leads students to a knowledge of Scripture and an understanding of their place in God's plan, there is also a natural integration of Biblical principles into other subjects as well. Students memorize Bible verses and attend chapel every week, and they are provided with opportunities to serve their community with the love of Christ. Language Arts

Our core curriculum in reading and writing instruction aligns with the Science of Reading in Literacy and received all-green rating from EdReports. The focus of early elementary is learning to read through a systematic phonics based approach. As students mature in their learning, they begin to read in order to learn exciting information and content. Literacy proficiency and skill is a focus of our elementary level to ensure students are prepared with a solid foundation for life. Writing is incorporated across all grade levels. Math

Unleash the mathematician within! Science

At Christian Life Elementary School, our science curriculum seeks to explore the order and beauty of God’s created world. Social Studies

Rooted in Christian principles, our social studies program guides students through a journey of understanding different cultures, historical events, and the importance of compassion and empathy. Fine Arts

At Christian Life Elementary School, our fine arts curriculum is a canvas for self-expression and spiritual growth. Grounded in Christian principles, our program encourages students to discover their unique artistic voices, whether through painting, music, or drama. We believe that nurturing creativity is a way of honoring the divine creativity instilled in each child.
