High School
We believe competition is an important component in a student's development, helping them to become composed and confident. Character is also revealed and developed in the way a student-athlete interacts with team members, coaches, opponents, and officials. The student-athlete also learns to deal with failure and success as well as how to apply discipline to reach his/her goals. The CLHS athletic department focuses on developing the full potential of a teams' athletic ability, as well as the highest level of integrity and Christ-honoring sportsmanship.
At Christian Life, we offer 12 different varsity sports to choose from with many having freshman and sophomore levels. Christian Life High School is a member of the Illinois High School Association and all the privileges that the membership provides, mainly the chance to compete for a state title in all varsity sports. We are proud of the past successes of the many teams, coaches, and individuals that have represented CLHS and continue to seek the very highest level of achievement in all of our programs. Students may participate and compete in any of the following interscholastic sports listed below.
Note: The following abbreviations are used to indicate competition at various levels:
V = Varsity, JV = Junior Varsity, F/S = Fresh/Soph, and F = Freshmen).
